Derek Creason
With over 18 years of hands-on experience in information security, Derek brings deep expertise across infrastructure, cloud environments, governance, risk, and compliance to every engagement.
Derek holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management and 14 industry certifications including CISSP. His background spans enterprise environments, federal systems, and small business consulting — giving him a rare ability to scale solutions to any organization’s needs.
As a Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3) in the Army National Guard, Derek brings military discipline and thoroughness to civilian security challenges.
His passion is teaching security to willing learners and helping organizations build lasting security programs — not just checking compliance boxes.
